Abstract:

The relationship between God and nature has been a topic of discussion and research for a long time. This relates to theological themes like the relationship between revelation and nature or creator and creation. Furthermore, this topic contains significant material about creation and salvation. Since the mid 20st century, protestant theology has experienced new theological debates and reflections on this topic. Hence, protestant theology is in the process of developing from the traditional theologia naturalis towards a theologia naturae.

This study attempts to shed light on the background of this transformation. It especially focuses on re-interpretation of the contemporary theological discourse¡¯s various theological thinkers. And finally, this study tries to elaborate on the meaning of theologia naturae from a protestant theological perspective. Through this, this study aims to suggest future tasks and provide an outlook towards the ongoing discourse on nature from the theological point of view in the Post-Human Era.
